Contents:

Reel 1 contains three separate and distinct records from Queens County. The reel begins with several commissions appointing Justices of the Peace for Queens County, 1788-1803. The commissions are followed by Papers of the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for Queens County, 1793 and 1819. The third and largest section of the reel contains a number of Deeds, Mortgages and Leases for land, 1786-1814. All records are in chronological order.

Reel 2 continues the chronological order of land records, 1812-1820, with a slight overlap in time. Each document is dated, and signed by the parties concerned and their witnesses. Frequently, the letter designation of the Register Book, the page numbers and the registration number of the document are given, along with the signature of the registrar.
