The Loyalist Collection holds contemporary documents pertaining to the experiences of Americans supportive of the British cause during the American Revolution. The focus is circa 1750 to 1850, and geographically the British Atlantic world: eastern parts of both present-day Canada and the United States, Great Britain, and the West Indies. The Collection, moreover, includes broadly related topics which contribute to shedding light not only on this period, but engulfing the late seventeenth century into the late nineteenth century.

As well, The Collection holds a selection of sources in print (see Print Materials link).

The Catalogue contains descriptions, some more detailed than others, of the over 600 records, most of which are in microfilm format and, to a lesser extent, in electronic format. For assistance using the Catalogue, a Search Tips button is available.
