The Proclamations issued by the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia from No. 88, 1784, to No.146, 1807, were microfilmed in their entirety. The Proclamations issued between 1748 and 1783 were not included on the microfilm. One of the most important documents is a copy of the Proclamation by the United States Congress of the Articles of Peace concluded and signed in Paris, 3 September 1783, officially ending the war between Great Britain and the United States of America. 

Other Proclamations deal with land settlement, imports and exports, bounties on fish, and many other subjects.
