- Contents:
- A collection of Town Registers from several different Townships and Counties of Nova Scotia, and one Parish Register from Prince Edward Island. Approximately one-half of the registers were transcribed before they were microfilmed and the remainder were filmed from the original records. The volumes contain birth, marriage and death records for each Township. For Granville Township there are lists of town clerks, a census for 1838, and Minutes of the Court of General Sessions of the Peace.
The following is a list of places with the dates of the records as they appear on the microfilm: Chester, 1762-1830; Cornwallis, 1720-1885; Falmouth, 1747-1825; Granville, 1720-1881; Horton, 1751-1895; Newport, 1752-1858; Onslow, 1761-1896; Truro, 1761-1851; and Rustico, P.E.I., Saint Augustin de catholique, 1812-1824.
