Background:

The congregation of St. John's Church, Riverside, and St. Paul's Church, Morrisburg, joined to become the St. Lawrence Lutheran Church in 1876.

Contents:

Volume 1: baptisms, marriages and burials, as well as notes on the history of the parish, and memoranda of St. George's Church (later St. John's), Williamsburg, 1826-1841. The volume includes the records of the Osnabruck Lutheran congregation.

Volume 2: baptisms, burials, and notes on parish activities for St. John's Lutheran Congregation, Osnabruck, 1837-1853.

Volume 3: baptisms, confirmations, marriages and burials, as well as parish minutes and lists of communicants for St. John's Church, Riverside, and St. Paul's Church, Morrisburg, 1840-1895, with scattered entries to 1953. There is a brief index at the beginning of the volume.

Volume 4: baptisms, confirmations, marriages, deaths, and lists of communicants for St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, and St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Morrisburg, 1870-1972.

Volume 5: marriage register of St. John's, Williamsburg, and St. Peter's, North Williamsburg, 1858-1914.
