Background:

The Annapolis Mission (Anglican) was established in the 1760s and became Annapolis Parish ca. 1790. Saint Luke's, Annapolis Royal, was consecrated in 1791 and designated as the parish church.

Contents:
Reel 1 includes: baptisms, 1782-1800, 1808-1816, 1833-1888; confirmations, 1791; and marriages, 1782, 1790-1794, 1806-1874. Reel 2 includes: one register of baptisms, 1817-1833, 1869-1890; and one register of burials, 1869-1890. Besides Annapolis Royal, includes registrations for inhabitants of Clements, Dalhousie, Lake La Rose, Perrote, Rosette (Round Hill), and elsewhere.

The original records of the Parish of Annapolis were loaned to the Nova Scotia Archives for microfilming by Rev. Quartermain, Annapolis, Nova Scotia in 1967 and 1968. Records cannot be reproduced without written permission of the parish rector.
