Contents:

The Papers which were selected for microfilming include: returns of persons; lists of disbanded soldiers and other Loyalists; memorials; drafts of grants; petitions and warrants. 

Of particular significance are the following: a List of the British Legion and other Loyalists with the number of their families at Guysborough; returns of Westchester Loyalists who have drawn land on the North and South sides of the Cobequid Road and at Ramsheg; a return of Loyalists from South Carolina who settled near Windsor; a return of Loyalists who went from New York to Great Britain and have not claimed their land in Nova Scotia; and a Draft of a Grant to George Sutherland containing two hundred and forty names, with the number of acres assigned to each person, in Clements, Annapolis County. 

Locations which are mentioned in the records are: Guysborough, Ramsheg, Sissibou River, St. Mary's Bay, Cobequid Road, Dartmouth and Windsor. 

The Petition of Black Pioneers for land was not microfilmed.
