A record book containing two distinctly different and unrelated sources. The first is a list of original grantees of Shelburne, 1783-1784, which appears on pages with odd numbers from 1-67 and again from 79 to 82. 

The second is a collection of 105 location descriptions; warrants of survey; licences of occupation; grants of confirmation; parish boundaries; memoranda; lists of inhabitants; and numerous other documents, 1783-1828. 

Locations mentioned include: Musquodoboit River, Granville, Aylesford, River Ramsheg, Halifax, Digby, Canso, Shubenacadie River, Dartmouth, Amherst, District of Merigomish, Sheet Harbour, Annapolis, Pictou, St. Margarets Bay, Pomquet, Tracadie, Chester, Barrington, Windsor Road, Shelburne County, and other locations.
