The Collection includes the following sources: a letter from Colonel Edmund Fanning (1739-1818), Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, to George Sproule, Surveyor General of New Brunswick, concerning business affairs and the purchase of land, 1786; a letter from Benedict Arnold to Ward Chipman, 1791; and a letter from Sampson Salter Blowers, Chief Justice of Nova Scotia, to Ward Chipman, Solicitor General of New Brunswick, 1785.
