Contents:
            A record of land assigned to disbanded Loyalist soldiers and refugees.  The material is arranged by lot number and contains both the Warrant of Survey issued to the Surveyor General by the Lieutenant Governor and the names of Loyalists settled on each lot.  The names of all persons mentioned in both the Warrants of Survey and in the Returns are listed by Lot Number. The allocation of land assigned to each person is described in great detail.  The number of acres for each lot and a detailed description of the location, with the dimensions given in chains is provided.  In each case, reference is made to a plan kept in the Surveyor General's office.
