Acts of the General Assembly : 1786-1836.

            The microfilm reel contains a copy of the Revision of the Laws of the Province, completed to the end of the 1836 Session and published in 1838.  The Revision was prepared by George F.S. Berton under the authority of the Lieutenant Governor and the Assembly.
            

            The Revision includes the full text of Acts in force at the time and a list of all Acts passed by the General Assembly, with a note as to whether the Act had become obsolete, had been repealed, or had expired.  There is a subject index at the end of the volume and several appendices, including copies of the Charters for the City of Saint John, King's College, subsequently the University of New Brunswick, the Madras School in Saint John, and the Original County Charter.
