Letterbook copies of despatches received from the British Minister at Washington and also from the British Minister at Washington to the Colonial or Foreign Secretary but forwarded through the Governor's office. In addition, there are despatches from the Governors of other British North American Provinces if the nature of the correspondence concerns international relations. The letters and enclosures are in chronological order.
