Letterbook copies of correspondence sent by the Lieutenant Governors of Upper Canada to various officials in Upper Canada and elsewhere. A considerable amount of the correspondence deals with military matters. In addition there can be found correspondence with the British Minister in Washington, the Commander in Chief of British Forces, and many other prominent individuals.
