Contains the index to the transcript edition of CO 42 (Great Britain. Colonial Office. Original Correspondence, Upper Canada (Ontario), produced by Library and Archives Canada from originals in The National Archives in England. The principal arrangement of the Index is by name of correspondent. The name of the person to whom the correspondence is addressed is usually included, along with the date, place, and volume reference to the "Q" transcripts. A limited number of subject entries are included in the Index, e.g. Loyalists.
