Contains census and assessment records for 15 townships in the Niagara District, including the Counties of Lincoln, Welland and Haldimand. The townships are: Bertie, Canborough, Canby's Settlement, Clinton, Gainsborough, Grantham, Grimsby, Haldimand County (on the Grand River), Humberstone, Louth, Pelham, Rainham, Thorold, Wainfleet, and an unidentified area. Only the names of the heads of families are given, along with the number of males and females over sixteen and the number under sixteen years of age.
