Contents: 
            The  Records include three volumes of Minute Books of the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the Western District, 1821-1886.  This is followed by one volume of Road Petitions, Reports and Accounts,  prior to 1842.  The fifth volume contains Miscellaneous Records by township, including:  Clerk of the Peace Warrants; Treasurer's receipts; statements and accounts; and wolf scalp certificates.
Originals: The original documents are held by the Archives of Ontario. They were transferred to that repository from the Fort Malden Museum with the permission of the Essex County Council.
