Background:
            Research Publications has assembled and made available in microfilm the most important published colonial and state records of the original Thirteen Colonies, Maine and Vermont. The series is comprised of sixty-seven titles and spans the years from the earliest available records of each colony until approximately 1800.            
Contents:
            The Colonial Records of Massachusetts have been microfilmed on twenty-three reels and contain eighty-two volumes of material. 

CR 21. The Acts and Resolves, Public and Private, of the Province of Massachusetts Bay, 1692-1786. 21 vols. Volume 1, 1692-1714; Volume 2, 1715-1742; Volume 3, 1742-1756; Volume 4, 1757-1768; Volume 5, 1769-1780. There is an Index of Names, General Index, and List of Acts and Resolves arranged by date at the end of each volume. A lengthy Preface is located at the beginning of Volume 1. Volume 6, 1692-1780. This volume of Private Acts is followed by a name index.
