Grant, a dedicated researcher, historian and author who laboured for several years to complete this monumental work so that scholars would have access to one of the richest collections of Loyalist material known to exist. |

A detailed introduction to the Winslow Papers is found at the beginning of each index reel. Part of the introduction consists of a microfilm shelf list and a section termed, Inventory to the Winslow Papers, which is really a chronological list of the documents in the order in which they are numbered in the collection, giving the volume and reference, author and date for each item. |
