Background:
            St. Mary's Chapel of Ease was consecrated on 13 August 1843.  The first minister was Reverend Samuel Bacon.  St. Paul's Church was built in 1825.

            The reel includes:  baptisms, 1822-1884; burials of babies, 1848-1860; and marriages, 1833-1932.

Registers of St. Mary's Church, Chatham, and St. Paul's Church, Chatham Head, are included.
