The American Revolution in Context.

            A collection of original documents selected from Archives in Great Britain and in the United States which contains primary historical sources concerning the American Revolution. The Collection is edited by Greg Palmer and Wallace Brown, and published by World Microfilms Publications.            

            The Collection is arranged in four parts:
  Part 1: Debates in the Parliament of Great Britain on the American Revolution, 1765-1784, (reel 1).
 Part II: The Boston Gazette, 1761-1765, (reels 2-4).
 Part III: The Diplomacy of the American Revolution, (reel 5).
 Part IV: Documents, Pamphlets and Broadsides of the Revolution (reel 6).
 The latter portion of this reel contains a number of biographical sketches of the authors whose works are included in this section of the Collection.            

            There is an introduction and list of contents at the beginning of reels 1, 2, 5 and 6.
 The introduction and list of contents, as well as a microfilm shelf list, are available in print and as a PDF in the electronic finding aids section.
