The first Court Book, 1785-1787, contains the date, the names of the plaintiff and the defendant, and very brief information for each of the cases that came before the Court.
The second Court Book, 1785-1823, gives a more detailed account of each case and contains the Rules and Orders of the Court of Governor and Council, and Fees in the Court of Governor and Council. The latter document includes Advocate's Fees, Proctor's Fees, Clerk's Fees, Sheriff's Fees, Cryer's Fees, and Commissioner's Fees. The records are in chronological order within each Book. |
