Treasurer's Accounts and Estimates : 1787-1851.

            The reel is separated into four sections, each containing different records, but all related in some way to the financial affairs of the Province. The film begins with a ledger of expenditures, 1825-1827, which is followed by a nominal index to a section of accounts paid, 1825-1826. A volume containing a report from the Auditor General's Office entitled, An Abstract Statement of Casual Revenue and Expenditures, 1820-1851, precedes four boxes of Treasurer's Office records.  These include: accounts; estimates; receipts; expenditures; duties collected; financial statements; and correspondence, 1786-1826.

The brief typed descriptions that were microfilmed in several locations on the reel are not completely accurate. Researchers are advised to use the Table of Contents in print for detailed information.
