The Minute Book provides a detailed record of the court proceedings and is an excellent example of how an Inferior Court functioned in the early days of settlement. The proceedings include the date of the sitting and the names of the judges present, the names of the plaintiff and the defendant, and the nature of the offense. For each case, the names of the members of the jury and the witnesses for both the plaintiff and the defendant are recorded. |
