The General Index of Grants from 1730-1937, inclusive, is arranged alphabetically by the name of the grantee. Other information includes: year of the grant, a grant number in some cases, area in acres, district, county, book and page number. Following each letter of the alphabet, there is a supplementary list of grants entitled, General Index to Grants from 1938 to 1976. Each list contains the same kind of information as can be found in the lists for the earlier period. The last microfiche contains a list of Halifax Harbour water lots. |
