The Registers and Indexes in NAC Series RG 7, G 1 serve to identify the despatches and must be used in conjunction with the shelf list in order to locate specific despatches. Each register contains an index. The index serves only the incoming despatches, although, in several cases, outgoing despatches are recorded in the registers as well. The shelf list identifies the microfilm reels in which the despatches appear. |
